Samara Ambli is the founder and CEO of UNSPOKEN, a nonprofit born from her own experience as a cancer survivor. She created UNSPOKEN to offer the honest, judgment-free space she wished existed during her own journey—where young survivors could share their truths without pressure or filters.
Samara has extensive experience in cancer outreach, running a chapter of the American Cancer Society as President and engaging in countless hours of research on survivorship and patient support. Through UNSPOKEN, she has created programs that have reached 800+ young cancer patients and are now implemented in 5 hospitals across the Bay Area. She is a published writer for Elephants and Tea, a trademark of the Steven G. Cancer Foundation, and a 2025 Bank of America Student Leader—one of 315 students selected out of over 12,000 applicants nationwide (2.5% acceptance rate). Samara brings both lived experience and a strong commitment to advocacy and impact.
UNSPOKEN is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
